I need a hair straightener that wont damage my hair?

i got the worst kinda of hair, its frizzy, its big, it wont stay the way i want it too.. if i blow dry it, it just gets worse. I have 2 hair straighteners at home, but they arent that great and every time i use them, my hair gets drier and drier.. they are ceramic and one of them is by conair and the other by revlon.. what do you guys recommend??

I have the same problem. I needed a straightener that wouldn't dry my hair out and make the frizz worse. I found this great straightener. The brand is called wet to straight. You use it while your hair is wet and it has little vents that let the steam out. It is great!! At first I thought it would fry my hair but it doesn't. It leaves it nice and silky. I love it!!!

Ceramic is the best. A professional one would be better but they are expensive. Flat irons are very damaging because the get extremely hot, so really no matter what you use it will damage your hair. Try a styling product that will protect your hair from thermal (heat) damage.

ok my hair was the exact same way until i got a really good hair straightner it came from sally beauty and it was like $65 it is well worth the money my hair is so straight and smooth now and it works like magic and also you can get some stuff that protects your hair when you straighten it!! you can get some from wal mart, k mart, CVS, wal greens, drug stores, and from different hair places this is what i suggest

PS. the hotter the better ask for the hottest one because the hotter the better and the less you have to go over it!!!! and the wet to straight hair straightners that somebody suggest suck and they fry your hair!!!!

first of all dont blow dry your hair lol. i have the same problem. i use a good straightner. it doesnt damage my hair. and the good thing about it is it dries my hair as it straightens. its called remmington for dry and wet hair. its really good. you should try it. but you should also use a deep conditioner to make your hair softer. my hair is not damaged when i straighten it, it stays soft.
