Cut my hair?

I'm auditioning for this show at my high school, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and almost all the girls are gonna have to cut their hair into bobs. I do a lot of acting, and I want to get headshots, but I think getting my hair cut will take away a lot of casting opportunities. Eg. I will be less flexible to work with. So i'm stuck with the short hair image for a while. I REALLY don't want to cut my hair. Is it worth it to take off my long hair which will take at least a year and a half to grow back, for 5 days of a high school production. There are very few girl parts which permit long hair, but i won't know until the cast list is posted. By then I would already have to tell the theatre director that i'm not willing to do the show if i have to cut my hair. I have a big audition opportunity coming up also in NYC on Broadway, Spring Awakening, and the fact that my hair is even short might prevent them from even seeing me. So I'm totally stuck, and I need help! Please help! I need a response!

Cut my hair?

You should definitly not cut your hair, and audition on broadway!!!!

Cut my hair?

Don't cut your hair for 5 days of fame and then not make it on broadway which will serve you much longer lasting fame and job opportunities.

Cut my hair?

Can't you get a wig?

Cut my hair?

Yeah go for it! You閳ユ獧e just in high school. You have the time for a big career later. And what if you don閳ユ獩 get a part in any of the shows you auditioned for on Broadway. It's very competitive out there. If you do your high school show with people your own age you might have a better chance to shine whereas you most likely won閳ユ獩 make it on Broadway as a high schooler. You could miss a great opportunity by skipping out on a fun high school show. It's much harder when you are getting paid to do what you love. So enjoy your time now and worry about a career later. Your hair will grow back!
