Why do women dry their hair with hair dryers?

I don't understand why they have to take so long to dry their hair. I just use a towel to dry my hair. Sometimes I even go out of my home without drying my hair in the morning. What is the big deal with a hair dryer?

Most of the modern hairstyles and chemically processed hair these days require a blow dryer or a straightening iron. Longer hair takes longer to dry, and you'll just be dripping everywhere.

Well it can control the frizz if you use certain sprays/serums. If you want a quick dry, or sometimes straightening/curling. It's for styling. Some of our hair doesn't behave if we don't blow dry. =]

i think its because girls care about how they look. I do. It's quicker and can keep frizz at bay. And also most girls have hair that are longer than boys and using a towel might not work well with us! JUST LET THE GURLS DO WHAT THEY WANNA DO!! It also depends on what kinda hair ya have becuase i have thick hair really thick hair and using a towel is a nightmare for me!

so that you dont have a bad hair day-now i can let my hair air dry but that takes at least an hour and sometimes i dont have that much time so its fast too

Because once it drys from not blow drying it it looks like you just got out of the pool. We have to have it look nice a soft. Plus isn't that what you want a girl to look like? Do you want a girl that always look like she just got done swimming?
