Oily Hair?

I am going camping this weekend, leaving friday coming home monday. No running water, we are taking baby wipes to wash up, but what do I do about my hair to prevent a big grease ball by monday?

Oily Hair?

You're going camping. You're kind of supposed to look like that when you get home.

There are dry shampoos in a spray can. One has been out since the 60s called Psssssst. There are others. It sprays on a powdery stuff. You come it through your hair and it absorbs the oil. It works really well for a temporary fix like you're asking for.

Try spinkling your hair with some baby powder with baking soda in it. Rub it through your hair, then brush it out. It won't be like "washed," but it will absorb some of the oil while you're unable to wash it.

You can buy shampoo that you just put in your hair and you don't have to rinse it out. If you can't find that, just keep your hair up in a pony tail at all times. If you're at a place that has a whole bunch of different camping spots, then you can usually go to a different camping spot that will have showers for 25 cents.

when i don't have time to wash my hair i rub baby powder into the roots. It absorbs the greasiness.

You can buy "dry shampoo" which doesn't need any water.

Talcum powder I swear it's great. Just be careful how much you put on, do it little by little. it's something we used to use in hairdressing college.
